About Webconnex

Our Story

Webconnex, a company created by two guys from different backgrounds who have built a set of web technology tools to help individuals and organizations simplify the way people register and donate.

In August of 2008, Eric decided to develop a donation manager for one of his clients searching for for a good “off the shelf solution" to process donations online minus all the custom development or worry about the security issues or upgrades.

Within 6 weeks, a simple interface with minimal features was created which turned out to perform exceptionally well for the client. John and Eric met up and took a look at the simple manager seeing huge potential in it for the events industry. After several hours at Starbucks, the decision was made to make enhancements to this little manager to facilitate event registrations.

John remembers “It was like an in-house solution for ticketing, registration, volunteer management, and exhibitor registration”

Webconnex LLC was born a few weeks later, signing on a few private clients to test and provide feedback. During the first 12 months, a hundred beta clients processed several million dollars. The customer feedback was tremendous and a long list of enhancements and features slowly began to take shape.

After a couple years and millions of dollars in customer volume later, Webconnex introduced individual product names for each of its product niches with GivingFuel, RedPodium, RegFox, TicketSpice and GroupRev each given their own brand and website.

While Webconnex is still young and growing, the focus and mission is to build powerful, yet intuitive, web applications. We create affordable, user-friendly products backed by industry standard customer service. This business strategy has allowed Webconnex to draw significant numbers of new clientele while minimizing reliance on expensive marketing and sales campaigns.

The 'About Us' story continues to evolve as new products and services emerge from our two California locations but we always stand by the basis our family of products is based upon
