Announcing Virtual Event Functionality and More

March 25, 2020

Our heart goes out to the countless event organizers who have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. It feels like our lives have been flipped upside down. We’ve been listening and we’re excited to announce some new features (and a few updates) to help you adjust.

New! Digital Event Page Type

When you create a page, you can make it a digital event type and then build the digital experience only official attendees will have access to. Set multiple livestreams, zoom, videos and downloads all under the digital access section. Your digital access can be made available on a date in the future, or immediately upon registration.

Here are 3 ways you can use this new feature to adjust to the virtual events market.

1: Host a Livestream or Pre-Recorded Video for a Virtual EventThis is best for a virtual event that occurs on a specific date in the future. All you need to do is build your schedule and specify your video URLs or embeddable live-stream code. The videos will appear when scheduled. You can upload workbooks, handouts, and more to be downloaded. 2: Digital Training, Workshops and Tutoring Restrict access to your Zoom link, webinar, Youtube link, or Wistia video behind a RegFox registration page. List one or multiple videos for training that only registered attendees have access to. This can be on a set date or made available instantly. This is great for educators, tutors, trainers, and thought leaders. 3: Sell Digital Resources or Downloadable ContentFor content creators, you can monetize your ebook, video masterclass, or resource library through RegFox. Registrants will be given instant access to your digital goods. This is perfect for anyone who has digital content they have been wanting to sell. We know these are hard times for everyone. We hope this new feature helps you get through this tough season. Also, if you know of physical trainers, tutors, educators, and speakers who are trying to take their business online, please forward them this email. Note: We are offering our virtual event functionality for no additional charge right now to help our customers and our industry.

Some other things we’re doing...

Many of you know we also make an online giving product for churches and non-profits. In response to the crazy times and for those who desperately need to raise money, we are giving away our online giving product GivingFuel for free for 6 months. We even have a feature for churches to use an online donation page as their virtual service page. So congregants can give while attending the virtual service. We would appreciate you forwarding this email to churches or non-profits affected by the pandemic. We also make an online ticketing system for ticketed events. We now support virtual experiences with online ticketing for artists, musicians, performers, and entertainers.

What if I am considering cancelling my event?

We know you may be considering cancelling your event. Are you able to postpone or reschedule your event instead? We’ve seen a lot of our customers have great success with this instead of having to issue refunds. You also can issue a coupon code for future use to any of your events in the future. If you must cancel and refund, please know there are some temporary measures in place now with certain refund types in order to stabilize our partners and ourselves. You can read our letter here.

Phew...

Okay, that was a lot. We want you to know we are in this together with you and are available to assist in any way possible. Just reply to this email and our team will spring into action. We hope this helps you survive and adjust in this crazy season. We’re with you.
